  • Thanksgiving – Turkeys, Pilgrims, and Pies — oh my! There’s something in Thanksgiving for everyone. If you’re in desperate need of family time and delicious food, this holiday is for you! This is a perfect time to count your blessings, enjoy a movie marathon, dig into one of the yummy Upper Crust pies you definitely bought from a senior, and pass the turkey to grandma — gobble, gobble!
  • Chilly weather – As summer becomes a distant memory, it’s time to embrace the chill that fall brings! It is time to bust out those Uggs, Northfaces, and, most importantly, IT’S TIME TO LAYER! Why waste time deciding which sweater to wear? Wear both and add a scarf! Now you’re looking stylish and keeping warm in this weather.
  • Starbucks – Who doesn’t love a great Starbucks? As of November 1, Starbucks’ holiday cups are finally back! You know what that means: all of your favorite drinks are at your disposal. Need a caffeine boost to power through that long essay? Try a gingerbread latte, peppermint mocha, pumpkin spice latte, or the caramel crème brûlée latte.
  • Changing Seasons – Every year as we welcome fall, we seem to always be amazed by the beauty it brings. This fall, try to appreciate your surroundings. Take time once a week, once a day, or even every now and then and appreciate the leaves as they change colors, symbolizing the passing of time and the circle of life. Fall is a time to remind us of what we are thankful for, so take the time to appreciate your family, your friends, your education, but also the nature around you.
