CALLING all adventurers and lovers of nature! The Outdoors Club had its first epic trek up the face of Mount Tamalpais on Sunday, October 26th. Ms. Churchill led hikers on the Temalpa Trail from downtown Novato all the way to the mountain’s summit! Club moderator, Señora Wagner, brought along her baby daughter Isabelle. The infant prodigy joined MC students for the entire 7 miles. She and the rest of the MC group captured panoramas from the top that would make Mrs. Reemsnyder proud.

“The gorgeous view makes it all worth it,” junior Claire Ongaro admitted. Michaela Andrues gushed, “I can’t wait till the next one. I cannot believe how beautiful the day was. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky!”

The club hopes to have as great luck with the weather conditions on their next planned outing: the famous fall backpacking trip. Keep an eye out for more information on this fantastic opportunity posted around school; we hope to see you there!
